2Checkout Release Notes for July 2022

To optimize our payments portfolio, we’ve improved our UnionPay implementation for merchants using our legacy cart and APIs, by introducing support for recurring functionalities and streamlining the shopper experience from one that involves a redirect to a seamless and frictionless one. On top of that, the improved UnionPay support is now also available for merchants using Convert Plus/ Inline, thus now fully covering all integration options available. We added new API 6.0 endpoints so that it's easier for merchants to filter through our available payment methods and currencies listed per country. Find out more details in our API documentation on SOAP, JSON-RPC, REST protocols.

We added WSOrder, a new API 6.0 parameter (on SOAP, JSON-RPC, REST protocols) used to control the website URL displayed in the email messages shoppers receive after they place an order. 

To make PayPal transactions and integration more secure, API calls can now be made through a bearer token provided by PayPal.

Updated and optimized the info box displayed in the Financial details page in the Merchant Control Panel so that the merchant is correctly informed.

Changed the getOrder and placeOrder responses on API v6.0 to include the card expiration date.

Created Migration guides for several methods as part of the Decommission legacy API versions - v4 project.

Changed reports in cPanel to provide comprehensive information on order promotions when a new promotion is added or an existing one is updated.

Partner refunds can now be performed directly through API requests without having to confirm the refund from cPanel.

Fixed an issue that prevented the Tax Number and the NG_TAX_OFFICE parameters from being displayed correctly in the Confirmation and Payment page of the cart.

Fixed a defect that was returning data inconsistency while performing an order search for orders using a custom date range.

Fixed a defect that caused a partner to receive more license codes than ordered from the merchant.

Fixed a defect that was causing the currency conversion between product base price and locked price to result in price 0.

Fixed an issue that caused the pre-2010 ePayment logo to be displayed on the email confirmation page in SERranking.

Fixed a defect causing the card number form field to display an unexpected notification for a wrong input in the field.
