Below are the items included in Release 3.30.02 for February 2026:
Enhanced device reporting and device search capabilities
Added two new filters (custom identifiers) that customers can use to search for devices. Merchant ID (MID) and Terminal ID (TID) are now available under Device Profile -> Details -> Custom Identifiers or in the Attributes drop-down on the Device Search page, thereby expanding device reporting and device search capabilities in VHQ.
Remote device management
Launched a Device Remote Control feature that enables VHQ helpdesk users to remotely connect to Android devices with the merchant's approval to troubleshoot issues. This feature allows VHQ users to securely view and control the device screen remotely. Currently, it is only available as part of the premium package. To use this feature, the Verifone Remote Device Agent app must be downloaded on the device. For more information on enablement, contact Verifone.
Increased security measures for Reference Set
We've added additional security measures to prevent users from changing a parameter template and reference set after it's published and downloaded to the device. Once a parameter template or reference set is assigned to the device, it cannot be edited to avoid breaking existing devices. If you need to make updates, use the copy feature to copy the parameter template and reference set to modify any values. A lock icon indicates that the parameter template and reference set are locked and cannot be changed.
Improved battery-related labels
We have updated the labels of the built-in battery and coin cell battery to clearly identify which attribute is a coin cell battery and which is a built-in battery. Updated labels are available on the device profile page.
REST API Updates
The VHQ REST API has been updated to provide the device's longitude and latitude. Geo location is supported in Get v1.6\device API.
New model support
We extended device compatibility by adding support for the latest Android, iOS, and VOS3-based models, including: V210-A, VB110, VC100, VM111, VM100, VM101, VP101, VP111, UX600-T-E, UX600-4G-E, UX600-4G-A-VOS3, UX700-4G-A-VOS3, V650-Plus-E.
