Media Downloads

Media Download to Terminal

  

Note

It is recommended to install the default media package before using any media modes to avoid getting fallback issues on terminal.

Via Configuration Package

SCA Engage configuration packages contain the sca_media_config bundle. Currently this bundle contains the customer logo and any background specification to customer.

All the default Advertisement images/videos can be added into this location.

Via Content Download

Engage SCA supports unsigned files to be downloaded from VHQ to the required paths through the content management feature.

  

Note

  • All Image and Animation content downloads should be configured to /home/usr1/flash/www/(device_resolution)/Images
  • All Video content downloads should be configured to /home/usr1/flash/www/(device_resolution)/Videos
  • GIF files need to be renamed from .gif to .eet while uploading it to the VHQ content library. Remaining things need to be as per the guide only.
  • Refer to Media File - Size and Formats for the tables describing resolutions and Media Files Location table for file names and location for VHQ content library setup.
  

Note

Title Logo can be downloaded or installed on terminal. This logo is used for M440, M424, M400, M450 and M425 devices only on the screens such as Transaction Status Screen, Amount Confirmation Screen, Lane Closed Screen, During input prompts, During Sample Sale. File Name - title_logo.png. Location - /home/usr1/flash/www/(Screen_Resolution)/Images (Engage Devices) and /home/usr1/flash/www/Images (Neo Devices). Resolution of this logo for all the above-mentioned devices are 150x30.

SCA Default and Config Media Reference Packages

The sca_default_media-1.0.0.tgz package contains default medias for supported engage terminals. The sca_media_config-1.0.0.tgz package is for reference where required media files can be added at their respective folder as per the guide and this can be included as part of their config package to have their media setup through config package.
