Verifone Release Notes for October-November 2023

A design improvement was added to the navigation tab in Verifone Central in the Payments Dashboard and the Report Scheduler sections, enabling the full name of an Organization to be displayed in the Organization filter. This has impact only on the single select Organization filter (only one organization). Read more in Payments Dashboard. 

Added in the Payment Provider Contracts section of Verifone Central the option to chose between two cut-off times to merchants using Elavon as an acquirer: at 10:00 PM UTC and 00:00 AM UTC. Read more in the Payment (Provider) Contracts section.

Greek and Spanish are now available as supported languages in Verifone Central, in the checkout area (including Pay by Link and Virtual Terminal), as well as in the e-mails sent to merchants. Read more in the Supported languages and Localisation articles.

Merchants with multiple Payment Provider Contracts (PPCs) now have the possibility to use Edenred cards (POS only, available with Intercard, Swedbank, Nets acquirers). Edenred cards follow the same routing as other Maestro/Master Cards cards.

 The invoice_number field is now available in Pay by Link, Checkout API, and eCommerce API, where merchants can store their internal unique 'Order Number' from their internal systems to track their payments. Find out more details in Transaction details.

Updated the logo design in checkout to the new Google Pay logo from Google's brand guidelines. The update is visible via checkout, Pay by Link, and Verifone plugins.

Acquirer Settlement ID was added in Verifone Central as a field in the Custom Report Template options and in the Details tab from the side-menu of any transaction. See more in the Transaction details fields article.

Enhanced responsiveness on mobile devices for checkout flow with large amounts and stored credentials. 

Added customer_details object to eCommerce API. Merchants can now pass in the customer first/last name, shipping and billing address as part of the eCommerce API payload without having to use the Customer API to create a customer record first. 

Added merchant_reference field on klarna_complete endpoint for eCommerce API. 

Changed the displayed name of InterCard acquirer to Verifone Payments GmbH across Verifone Central pages.

Fixed a defect in Verifone Central that caused users who opened the Privacy policy link from the footer of the page to get a 404 result. 

Fixed a defect in Verifone Central that caused an incorrect order of the sections in the main landing page.

Fixed a defect in Verifone Central that prevented users to create URLs using Pay by Link.

Fixed a defect in the Pay by Link page that caused the Maximum number of payments field to be mandatory instead of optional.
