This section covers the maintenance function of the terminal.

Clear Batch

The Clear Batch allows the User to clear transactions in the batch manually without settlement.

Press enter_key key to confirm that batch is to be removed.

  • If batch exists, terminal proceeds to step 2.
  • If no batch exists, terminal proceeds step 3.
  • If cancel_key pressed, terminal goes to step 4.
  • If no selection made, terminal goes to step 5.

Clear Reversal

This menu item is used to clear reversal transactions from the batch.

  • If reversal data exists, terminal proceeds to step 2.
  • If no reversal data exists, terminal proceeds step 3.
  • If cancel_key pressed, terminal goes to step 4.
  • If no selection made, terminal goes to step 5.

Reset Terminal

This operation allows the User to reset the terminal, so that terminal will be set to default settings. It cannot be performed if the terminal is in Training mode or the batch is not empty.

During terminal reset all totals and terminal info will be erased. Press enter_key key to confirm.
  • If cancel_key pressed, terminal goes to step 3.
  • If no selection made, terminal goes to step 4.
