Overview

Retrieve information on the evolution of a subscription in the 2Checkout system, including details of the initial acquisition and the subsequent renewals and upgrades. Use the getSubscriptionHistory method to retrieve details about a subscription. 

Subscriptions can be retrieved starting with 5 minutes after their orders are generated in the 2Checkout system.

Overview 

Avangate supports 1-click purchases for returning customers who paid for their previous orders with:

• Credit/Debit cards
• PayPal

How does this work? 

1. Identify returning customers. 
2. Access data on the previous purchases of returning customers.
3. Validate previous order references for 1-click purchase scenarios using the isValidOrderReference method.
4. Place a new order using a valid previous order reference as the payment method. 
5. Avangate charges returning customers using their payment-on-file information, either a card or their PayPal account. 

Requirements 

• Use only references of previous orders  with one of the following statuses AUTHRECEIVED or COMPLETE.
• The email address of the BillingDetails object is mandatory and it needs to match the email address used as a part of the billing details of the initial order whose reference you're now using to place a new order. Avangate checks whether the email addresses are identical, and throws an error if they're not, blocking the order placement process. 
• Note: You need to provide only the email address of the shopper, and can ignore the rest of the required customer billing information. If you enter any billing details in addition to the email address, you'll have to provide all information required in the BillingDetails object.​

Overview

Place an order for catalog products defined in your Control Panel and collect the payment using WeChat Pay.

Requirements

Only Chinese shoppers are able to purchase using WeChat Pay. Make sure the billing country code is set to CN.

Workflow

1. Shoppers select WeChat as payment option in the interface you provide to them.
2. Create the order object. Use WE_CHAT_PAY as the type of the PaymentDetails object, and include ReturnURL and CancelURL.
3. Use the placeOrder method to send the data to 2Checkout.
4. Once you place the order, 2Checkout logs it into the system. At this point in time, the status of the order is PENDING.
5. 2Checkout returns an Order object as the output of the placeOrder method. 
6. Use the PaymentMethod object to create a redirect URL for the shoppers, concatenating the values of the Href and avng8apitoken parameters. Here's an example of the redirect URL:

7. After being redirected to WeChat Pay, shoppers need to scan the QR code provided, using the WeChat smartphone app.
8. After customers enter their payment password, WeChat notifies 2Checkout if the payment is approved, and the status of the order becomes COMPLETE.
9. Shoppers are redirected to the RedirectURL from the Order information object. In case the payment fails, shoppers are redirected to the CancelURL.

Overview

Use the placeOrder method to create an order using physical/tangible products defined in your Control Panel and collect the payment using credit card based payment methods.

Requirements

Add the product code of a tangible/physical product defined in your 2Checkout Control Panel. 

When placing orders for physical products, you can provide the shipping method that applies to the purchase in the API call, as part of the DeliveryInformation object.
