Subscription renewal notifications

Overview

Use the setRenewalNotificationStatus method to subscribe or unsubscribe shoppers from subscription renewal notifications.

Place orders for tangible dynamic products

Overview

Place an order for a tangible/physical product using dynamic information, and collect the payment through card-based payment methods.

Parameters

sessionID	Required (string)
	Session identifier, the output of the Login method. Include sessionID into all your requests. 2Checkout throws an exception if the values are incorrect. The sessionID expires in 10 minutes.
Order	Required (Object)
	Object designed to collect all data necessary for an order, including billing, product/subscription plan and payment details.

Requirements

Set the tangible flag of the product items to TRUE, to create orders for physical products.

You can add a shipping method item by setting the purchaseType flag to 'SHIPPING'. In case no dynamic shipping method is provided for the purchase, 2Checkout will default to the shipping methods created in your Control Panel.

Place a renewal order

Overview

Renew a subscription and collect recurring revenue using the 2Checkout Subscription Reference. You can renew subscriptions for both catalog and dynamic products.

Requirements

To place a renewal order, you need to provide a valid subscription reference number.

Payment methods

You can place renewal orders using the following payment methods:

Use the PaymentDetails object to change the payment method used in the ordering process.

Retrieve a customer

Overview

Use the getCustomerInformation method to retrieve the details of a customer entity from the Avangate system.

Parameters

Parameters	Type/Description
sessionID	Required (string)
	Session identifier, the output of the Login method. Include sessionID into all your requests. Avangate throws an exception if the values are incorrect. The sessionID expires in 10 minutes.
AvangateCustomerReference	Required (int)
	System-generated customer reference. Required unless you prefer to use ExternalCustomerReference.
ExternalCustomerReference	Optional (string)
	External customer reference that you control. Optional when you use AvangateCustomerReference. If you include it, it needs to belong to the same customer as the AvangateCustomerReference.

Update coupon

Overview

Use the updatePromotionCoupon method to add single or multiple coupons to a promotion.

Updating a promotion with multiple coupons causes any existing single coupon to be removed.

Extract information on a specific list of subscriptions. Use the getSubscriptions method to retrieve details about a specific list of your account’s subscriptions.

Subscriptions can be retrieved starting with 5 minutes after their orders are generated in the 2Checkout system.
